Few people in the home entertainment industry have as wide-ranging and hands-on experience as John Kim, Founder and CEO of Deep C Digital.

John Kim

With 25+ years of sales and marketing experience, John has sold over 3,000 independent and major studio movies and TV shows to all the major digital, cable, and retail platforms. As Vice President of Digital Distribution at Paramount, he managed the Digital Sales Team and digital account relationships. Prior to this experience, he spent 10 years at Paramount and Disney managing over $1 Billion dollars of DVD/Blu-ray catalog business. Before entering the home entertainment industry, he served as a Brand Manager at Nabisco and a Marketing Director at Mattel.

Recently, John co-founded with Tyler Maddox, Voices Film Foundation (VFF), a nonprofit corporation uniting all people of color in the entertainment industry.

John is a graduate of Yale University and has an MBA from the Kellogg Management School of Business at Northwestern University. He currently resides in La Canada, CA with his wife of 30 years and they have 3 children. John was a 4 year Yale Varsity Tennis Team member, and enjoys fishing, pickleball, and basketball.

Michelle Lee Kim, Esq.
Michelle Lee Kim, Esq., is the Chief Operating Officer of Deep C Digital. She oversees the day-to-day operations and participates in strategic planning for the company. She also focuses on distribution of API (Asian and Pacific Islander) content as she is passionate about supporting inclusive films. She sits on the Board of Advisors of East West Players, the longest running and largest API theater group based in Los Angeles. In 2019, she was awarded Businesswoman of the Year by California Senator Anthony Portantino for her advocacy work with a nonprofit corporation she ran for over 8 years. She also worked as a corporate attorney and clerked for two federal judges. She graduated from Wellesley College and University of Pennsylvania Carey Law school.
